"The DON'Ts of heel stretches"

Cheerwiz.com

Here are the things that you should NOT do when pulling a stretch:

DON'T:  pull the stretch to the side

DON'T:  pull your stretch in front

DON'T:  lean down for your stretch

DON'T:  bend any one of your legs

DON'T:  lean back as you pull your stretch

DON'T:  place your weight in your heel or toe (should be both

DON'T: drop your chin

DON'T:  loose your hips (keep them squeezed)

NOTE: the proper way to pull a stretch - Start with your hands to your sides.  On the way up for your stints, pull your arms up to a Hi-V and pull your foot (left in this example) straight up at 45 degrees to your left hand.  Now grab the middle part of your foot and pull up for the finish.
