"Fullup Stunting Tips"
Cheerwiz.com  Fullups (in COED cheerleading) are stunts where the base throws the girl up and she does a 360 during the toss up to the stunt. (i.e. Fullup Hands, Fullup Stretch, Fullup Cupie, Fullup Liberty). Here are some tips to help the base and flier with fullups: 1.)Don't turn early (flier) - Try not to turn right off of the ground. Ride the flick half way up through toss before you turn. 2.)Chin to shoulder (flier) - Tuck your chin to your should to help initiate your turn. 3.)Push with Flick (flier) - (rotating right) Push your right hand in front and left hand behind and you release from the flick. This will make you turn. 4.)Feet together (flier) - This will help you rotate faster, smooth, and in control. It will also make it easier to hit your stunt as your feet will be right there to grab. 5.)Turn your hip/shoulders (flier) - AS you turn your right shoulder back don't forget about your hips. If you don't initiate your hips, then your spin will wobble and may not get around. 6.)Square to the front (flier) - As you come around, square and squeeze to the front to stop your spin and hit a solid stunt. 7.)Loose grip (base) - Start loose and don't squeeze too hard. 8.)Don't turn early (base) - Wait for the flier, then use her momentum to help turn her. 9.)Don't forget your flick (base) - You still need height so make sure you are still tossing her up. 10.)Turn with flick (base) - You need to turn the flier as you flick. 11.)Open your hand (base) - After you toss, point your finger forward, open your hand, and grab the flier's feet as they come around. 12.)Grab and finish (base) - Once you have a hand placement on the flier's feet, make sure you squeeze. 13.)Grab both feet - Grab both feet for support and the flier spins. It will help both of you get the fullup up around. 14.)Don't resist one another (Both) - Watch your timing and go with whatever you have. If one or the other spins early don't try to stop it or the stunt will definitely NOT get around.
