"Different ways for a base to adjust their grip"

Cheerwiz.com

Here are 2 different ways for the base to adjust their grip:

1. Pop - Give a little Pop. Bend with your legs and give a little shrug with your shoulders to allow your hands to adjust on the flier's foot.

NOTE: Don't pop the flier too high, or you may loose control and drop her.
NOTE: Don't pop the flier too little or your will not get enough separation.
NOTE: Novice stunters may want to make the flier aware of pop so that she knows what you are doing.
NOTE: Don't bend your arms. You should only used your legs and shoulders.

2. Squeeze - You can also squeeze your hand(s) into the correct position. This technique is good if a little adjustment is needed, and it avoids giving the flier a noticeable pop.
